This is yet another image of the library taken from the original entrance. In contrast to the images seen here, this image shows the staircase leading up into the adult section and the staircase leading down to the children's section, then known as the Boys and Girl's department.

Display boards advertising library happenings can also be seen. There is a "No Smoking" sign visible, as is a sign that affirms that donations of paperback books are accepted at the library. The bulletin board advertises library services, including photocopying and 16mm film rentals.

A science fiction book display is visible in the picture, as is a small display of geography books, seen in the top left hand corner of the image.
